Tiffany and Smith // MIT Wedding//May 31, 2017

Tiffany and Smith have such close ties to MIT that it made perfect sense to spend their wedding day wandering the campus, enjoying the Boston skyline, and celebrating in Walker Memorial Hall.

The highlight of the day, however, was their unique ceremony. Tiffany and Smith invited each of their parents to speak. They gave advice, told funny stories, and welcomed everyone into their new families. It was perfect.

Ming and Yu // Winter MIT Wedding//January 22, 2014

Hearing Ming tell the story of how he and Yu met, I couldn’t help but tear up a bit. The two of them were born in the same province in China, went to college in Hong Kong, but didn’t meet until they both ended up in Cambridge. They have seen God work in their lives again and again. It was amazing to be a part of their day and their community!

The ceremony took place at Park Street Church. We then headed to the Boston Public Library to avoid the looming snowstorm. The reception was held at Morss Hall on the MIT campus.

A BIG family surprise!//February 24, 2012

I’ve been saving this blog post for months now! These siblings decided to get a family portrait session done as a gift to their parents and I couldn’t spoil the surprise. What a great idea!
With 8 siblings and two additional husbands, it was a fun group. We went to the Stata Center at MIT on a quiet Saturday afternoon and made some great images for their parents.

I did a portrait of each family member. These would look great as a wall series!

And did I mention they brought fun signs??
